COASTAL COLLEGE CONSULTING LLC
Simplifying the transition from high school to college

ABOUT
Coastal College Consulting LLC was created by a high school counselor who wanted an opportunity to spend more one-on-one time with students and parents. Due to the overwhelming requirements of school counselors and the reality that their caseloads are often more than a 400:1 student/counselor ratio, school counselors do not have the ability to spend quality time with students and parents. Hiring a college consultant will allow a student and his/her parents to reduce the anxiety and stress that occurs during the typical college search and application process. Whether it is the search for the perfect college fit, understanding the requirements for a major, the search for student-specific scholarships, or achieving a dream of playing a sport at the Division 1 level, an experienced college consultant can cut out the majority of the legwork and confusion that is often faced by families. Contact us today for a free initial consultation by phone, video chat, or an in-person meeting.

Some of the most common questions that students ask are:
When should I submit applications?
What are colleges looking for in the class of 2022?
What is the difference between early admission and early decision? Does it really matter?
What scholarships do I qualify for and how do I find them?
How do I find the right college for me?
What is the FAFSA, do I have to complete one, and when should I start?
What classes should I take in order to have a competitive transcript?
What do I do if I want to play a sport in college?
Will my AP or Dual Credit course credits transfer?
How can I stand out from the rest of the applicants?
Should I take the SAT or the ACT?
Contact us now and schedule a free consultation to find out if Coastal College Consulting is right for you!

"Private college coaches are like high school guidance counselors on steroids. They do some of the same work as guidance counselors — helping students identify which schools they should apply to, suggesting courses they could take — with one key difference. Private coaches work with just a handful of clients each year, meaning they can provide highly specialized, individually tailored services.
Guidance counselors work with an average of 482 students each year, according to a 2018 report by the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the American School Counselor Association. (And some states don’t even require schools to have guidance counselors.)"
